KAMBA- anti-slip
bicycle- and pedestrian bridges made of wood.
Many bicycle and pedestrian bridges are made of wood. A natural product made from renewable raw materials that is unmatched in terms of sustainability.
However, wood in all its forms also has a negative characteristic: when damp or wet, it quickly becomes "slippery as glass," unfortunately causing many falls due to slipping that could be avoided.
Many municipalities and local authorities are aware of this problem, but have not yet found an effective way to combat it without changing the appearance.
KAMBA-Boden R11 provides immediate help here. It adheres to all types of wood (including WPC), is quick and easy to apply, and becomes completely transparent after drying. The existing appearance is therefore hardly changed, if at all.
KAMBA-Boden R11 is TÜV/LGA tested in accordance with DIN 51130 and therefore offers protection against claims for damages for pain and suffering by people who have fallen in public areas. A KAMBA R11 coating is also resistant to road salt and reliably protects all coated floor surfaces, even in the winter months.
